ABOUT DLCA
The Darren Lehmann Cricket Academy provides a range of programs, tours and clinics around the world, to help develop the game and individuals.
Our programs provide a total life experience, not just a cricket one. The DLCA looks at your future within the game and provides guidance while striving to achieve your best.
The Academy was founded in 2005 to give cricket players from around the world access to high class coaching and the opportunity to develop their game.
Aside from the High Performance Program, the DLCA also runs international tours and clinics and local carnivals catering for a range of ages and skill levels. These programs are seen as a pathway towards players attending the extended Summer High Performance Program in Adelaide, South Australia.
The DLCA High Performance Program has welcomed players from across the globe, offering them a unique opportunity to play and train alongside each other. Players have come from Australia, the UK, Ireland, Canada, the USA, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India and the Netherlands.
Of the hundreds of young men and women that have passed through our program, over 20 have gone on to become international players. These include Joe Root, Jason Roy, Alex Hales, Tammy Beaumont and Kathryn Bryce. In addition, over 100 have played first class cricket.
Using Darren Lehmann’s approach to the game, the DLCA has proven to be very successful at developing cricketers of all ages and abilities from around the world.
Our aim is about developing individuals to reach their potential, and building the foundation to allow that to happen.
