ABOUT OUR INTERNATIONAL TOURS
DLCA International Tours travel to some of the top cricketing countries around the world, giving players the opportunity to learn, train and play in different environments and develop as players.
These tours are typically for players aged in their mid to late teens from anywhere around the world, Â with a good all round skill level and understanding of the game.
Each tour offers something different and players will be exposed to cultural experiences, but ultimately cricket remains the main focus, and all tours are designed to encourage players to think, train and play like a professional athlete.
UPCOMING TOURS
U17 UK TOUR – Yorkshire International Tournament
July 2020
The tour of the UK is open to male cricketers between the ages of 15 – 18, with a serious interest in the game and a reasonable skill level.
This tour is a high intensity program where the squad will compete in the Yorkshire International Tournament. There will be six global teams entered, with representation from South Africa, UK, India, United States, Hong Kong and Australia. The tournament will be hosted at Ampleforth College, and training sessions will accompany the matches.
Outside of the cricket, the boys will receive an experience to Australia vs England at Headingly (T20), tour of Manchester United, a day trip to the Yorkshire Dales and more sightseeing.
U16 INDIA TOUR
14th-25th April 2021
The U16 tour of India is open to male cricketers with a serious interest in the game. The tour will be run in Delhi, with DLCA High Performance coaches leading the trip.
This tour is a high intensity program where the squad will verse a variety of school, club and district teams. While there are plenty of tourist sites in India, the cricket side of the tour is equally important as we aim to help you train, think and play like a professional athlete. Included in the tour is five star accomodation, all meals, sightseeing experiences including Taj Mahal, local transport, DLCA clothing, IPL tickets, a detailed report and more!
SRI LANKA TOUR
March 2021
The first ever DLCA tour for women will take place in 2019, and is open to players between the ages of 13-18 from anywhere around the world.
This tour is suited to all women with some experience playing cricket, from beginners to experienced players.
The tour to Sri Lanka is an average intensity program, with the team playing 5 matches over 11 days.
